The Vision of SkyDyes! was inspired by the joy of turning dreams into reality. Jonathan Wolfe, CEO, began realizing his dreams when he created his first tiedyed balloon, Julia Dream, in 1995. Wolfe formed SkyDyes! to share beauty, joy, creativity and adventure with the World. |

Pursuing awe and wonder, SkyDyes! melds modern technology
and ancient fiber arts to create amazing beautiful works of flying art. Inspired by synergistic combinations of such things as fractals and flying machines, SkyDyes! is expanding the envelope of balloon art into exciting new realms. Using the technology and skills learned while getting his Ph.D. in visual neuroscience, Jonathan Wolfe blends colors so as to heighten visual experience, and applies them to innovative, high-profile canvases. Wolfe has already designed dozens of extraordinary tiedyed balloons, and SkyDyes! is embarking on a collaborative commercial effort with the world's leading balloon manufacturers to produce them. Future SkyDyes! projects include: fractal-printed balloons,
both hot-air and helium; color modulated illumination of our inflatable
artworks; LaserBlimps; spinnaker sails; and a 100' tall flying Golden
Buddha.
What was once a crazy head-in-the-clouds idea now floats magnificently in the sky. Wolfe envisions a future sky filled with beautiful SkyDyes! balloons. |
